How many dumpsters and containers are in your fleet?

Include roll-offs, containers, dumpsters and bins.

Idle containers and unverified pickups are draining revenue you can't see

Trackio gives waste and dumpster rental operations a live view of tagged assets, plus automatic service verification so idle equipment and revenue loss stop hiding in the numbers.

Track assets across yards, job sites and customer locations, confirm pickups and drop-offs from movement records, and identify unexpected asset movement before it becomes an operational or billing problem.

Built for outdoor, high-turnover fleets — not just office assets

Containers and roll-offs live outside, get moved constantly, and take a beating. Generic asset trackers built for indoor tools or office equipment aren't built for that.

A dumpster sitting on a customer's lot for months needs suitable hardware. The current EYE Beacon option has an IP67-rated casing and a manufacturer-specified battery life of up to 10 years at qualifying settings; actual life varies with configuration, conditions, and use.

Common questions

Is this full waste management software with routing and dispatch?

No — Trackio focuses on tagged-asset visibility and service-record evidence, not route optimization or billing. It is designed to work alongside your existing hauling software and help close the asset-visibility gap.

Will the trackers hold up in a yard or on a customer's lot for months at a time?

The current EYE Beacon option has an IP67-rated casing and a manufacturer-specified battery life of up to 10 years at qualifying settings. Actual battery life varies with configuration, operating conditions, and use.

How does "service verification" actually work?

Trackio records tagged-asset detections, movement history, and associated vehicle, site, and time context. Your team can compare that evidence with the schedule to support a service review. Coverage depends on the tags, equipped vehicles or gateways, and deployment settings, so it does not guarantee that every event is automatically confirmed.

Does every dumpster report a continuous live GPS position?

No. A tagged dumpster's latest-seen location updates when a compatible gateway or scanner detects it. The tag is not a standalone GPS unit broadcasting a continuous position, which is why deployment coverage matters.

Do I need to replace our current containers or roll-offs to use this?

No. Compatible Trackio tags can be fitted to suitable containers and equipment you already operate, subject to the recommended mounting method for the hardware and asset.

How quickly can Trackio be deployed across our existing fleet?

Trackio is designed to work with the containers and roll-offs you already operate. Trackers are assigned to existing assets and connected into the Trackio platform, so you can start with a defined fleet or yard and expand from there. Deployment timing depends on fleet size, locations and the hardware configuration required.

Are we locked into a long-term contract?

No. Monthly subscriptions run month-to-month. Annual billing is optional and available at a lower rate for operators who prefer the saving.

What if Trackio doesn’t work for our operation?

Start with a single yard or truck group and prove the value on a small footprint before rolling it out more widely. There’s no minimum fleet size, so you don’t need to commit to a large deployment upfront.
